New Bylaws Accepted in Referendum
The Executive Board is excited to announce that the proposed changes to the organization's bylaws were accepted in a general referendum. The Executive Board presented its proposed bylaws to the Hispanic Caucus membership in September of 2010 for comments. After reviewing the comments, the board made final changes and submitted the document for a general vote. Electronic votes were accepted throughout the month of November and live votes were cast during the annual meeting on November 18. These changes were accepted by an overwhelming majority.
It is our hope that these changes will position the Hispanic Caucus to grow and to be a stronger voice for those we serve. Thanks to all who were involved in the process of writing, reviewing and voting on these changes! Please take a moment to download and review your new Bylaws of the Hispanic Caucus.
