The University of South Florida has one opening for Instructor, Level I, Speech-Language Pathology in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. This position will provide clinical supervision to graduate student clinicians enrolled in the SLP practicum involving the diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders; mentor Master’s students; and engage in service to the department, college, university, community and profession.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, eligibility for Florida State Professional License in Speech-Language Pathology, and at least one year of professional experience post clinical fellowship. Developed expertise in pediatric speech language pathology.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in supervision of graduate students in clinical or university settings. Ph.D. or equivalent degree. 3 years professional experience post clinical fellowship. Experience in documentation and assessment of student performance (ASHA Knowledge and Skills Assessment); Demonstrated experience in clinical research and implementation of evidence-based practice. Experience in the areas of early intervention, child language and/or bilingualism is preferred.
